Research Compound Catalog Glossary
These definitions explain how common terms are used across the AXORA BIO research catalog. They describe catalog and ordering fields, not medical or experimental guidance.
Product fields
Stated purity is the exact percentage presented for the current catalog specification. Format is the labeled amount for a sellable option. SKU is the identifier used to distinguish that option in catalog, cart, and order records.
Inventory fields
Variant is a selectable format under one product family. Availability reports whether the option can currently be ordered. Lot is an inventory reference that helps keep receiving and usage records connected to specific supplied material.
Order fields
Processing time is the period before carrier handoff. Transit estimate is the carrier’s expected travel time after shipment. Hosted checkout is the external protected payment step. Research Use Only defines the permitted sales and support boundary.
How the fields work together
A product family can contain multiple variants, and each variant should connect one format, SKU, price, availability state, and cart line. The order reference connects those selected lines to checkout and fulfillment. The visible lot reference belongs in the receiving record after delivery. Keeping these terms separate makes catalog comparisons clearer and reduces the chance that a product name, order number, SKU, or lot reference is used for the wrong purpose.
